This shoulder rest is designed for standard 4/4 and 3/4 size violins. It is not brand-specific and should fit most instruments of these sizes.
The M5402 features simple mechanisms to adjust both the height and the angle. The feet can be screwed in or out to change height, and the brackets can be pivoted to alter the angle for a custom fit.
It is constructed from a flexible and comfortable plastic, with soft rubber on the feet to protect your violin's body.
Installation is straightforward. Simply slide the rubber feet over the edge of the violin's lower bout until it is held securely. No tools are required.
To maintain the rest, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Check periodically that the rubber feet are clean and free of debris to ensure a secure grip and prevent any damage to your instrument's finish.
