No, the VIS-M485 is designed with a specific 5-pin XLR connector to integrate exclusively with Vissonic conference system consoles. It will not connect to or function with standard 3-pin XLR microphone inputs on mixers.

This microphone does not require batteries or standard +48V phantom power from a mixer. It is powered directly by the Vissonic delegate or chairman unit it is plugged into via its 5-pin connector.

The package contains the VIS-M485 pluggable gooseneck microphone and a foam windscreen. The conference base unit (delegate/chairman console) is required for operation and is sold separately.

This microphone is specifically engineered and tuned for speech intelligibility in conference and meeting room settings. It is not recommended for live vocal performance, musical instruments, or general stage use.

The microphone itself does not have a physical mute switch. Mute and speak functions are controlled via the buttons on the Vissonic conference console that the microphone is connected to.
