It features a TA4F (also known as TQG) connector designed specifically for Shure wireless bodypack transmitters. It is not designed to plug directly into a mixer or camera.
The WL185M is powered by the connected Shure bodypack transmitter. It does not require separate batteries or standard +48V phantom power from a mixing console.
The cardioid pickup pattern is ideal for reducing background noise and preventing feedback from stage monitors or PA speakers. It focuses on sound directly in front of the mic (the speaker's voice) while rejecting sounds from the sides and rear.
