The Beta 58A is famous for its bright, clear vocal sound that cuts through a live mix. Its supercardioid pattern is excellent at rejecting stage bleed and preventing feedback.
It is powered by two included AA batteries, which provide up to 8 hours of runtime. For extended use and advanced monitoring, you can use the optional Shure SB903 rechargeable Li-ion battery.
The package includes the SLXD2 handheld transmitter with the Beta 58A capsule, a microphone clip, two AA batteries, and a zippered storage bag.
The transmitter pairs easily with an SLX-D receiver using the IR Scan and Sync function. This automatically finds a clear frequency and links the two components with the push of a button.
