The system includes the SLXD5 portable receiver, the SLXD1 bodypack transmitter, a WL185 cardioid lavalier microphone, a camera cold shoe mount, a tie clip, windscreens, a carrying pouch, and AA batteries for operation.
Both the SLXD1 transmitter and the SLXD5 receiver are powered by two AA batteries each. They are also compatible with the Shure SB903 rechargeable battery for extended use and cost savings over time.
The included WL185 microphone features a cardioid polar pattern, which is directional. This design is excellent for focusing on the speaker's voice directly in front of the mic while rejecting sound from the sides and rear, significantly reducing background noise.
