As a professional condenser microphone, the CVG12-B/C requires phantom power (11-52V DC) supplied by your mixer or audio interface via the XLR cable to operate.

Its cardioid polar pattern is highly effective at focusing on the sound source directly in front of it, significantly reducing pickup of ambient room noise and sounds from the sides and rear.

The Shure CVG12-B/C comes with a mounting flange for secure installation on a surface and a foam windscreen to minimize breath sounds and plosives.

This microphone features Shure's CommShield® Technology, which is specifically engineered to guard against unwanted radio frequency (RF) interference from smartphones and other portable wireless devices.
