Yes, the JS Series is designed to offer pro features at an affordable price, making it an excellent choice for beginners who want an instrument that they can grow with.
It features a PJ pickup configuration, with a P-style split-coil pickup in the neck for warm, punchy tones and a J-style single-coil pickup at the bridge for a brighter, more aggressive growl.
It's both! It has an active preamp with a bass boost, but you can pull up the volume knob to bypass the active circuit and run it in a completely passive mode, which is great for tonal variety or if the battery runs out.
