The Shure UA-8100 is a 100-foot extension cable used to connect remote antennas to a wireless microphone receiver or antenna distribution system. This allows you to place antennas in an optimal location for the best possible signal reception, far from the receiver rack.

This is a 50 Ohm cable with BNC connectors, designed for professional Shure UHF wireless systems like ULX-D, QLX-D, and Axient. It is not compatible with systems that use different impedance or connector types, such as the GLX-D series.

This is a 50 Ohm impedance cable specifically engineered for RF (Radio Frequency) signals used by wireless microphones. Standard video cables are typically 75 Ohm and using one for RF can cause signal reflections and significant loss, degrading your wireless performance.

While technically possible with a BNC barrel adapter, it is not recommended as each connection point introduces signal loss. For runs longer than 100 feet, you should use an in-line RF amplifier to compensate for the increased cable attenuation.

Yes, the UA-8100 is built to Shure's professional standards. Its rugged RG213/U construction is designed to withstand the demands of frequent setup, teardown, and transport in live sound and broadcast environments.
