Unlike standard pickups, the GK system processes each string independently, allowing for a vast range of effects and tonal capabilities not achievable with conventional 1/4-inch outputs.

The 13-pin GK output carries the normal guitar signal and GK-processed sound, while the dedicated GUITAR OUTPUT jack routes unaffected signals to an amp or effects chain.
